FAQ
How do I move Dailo to a new iPhone? Use a copy file. On your old iPhone go to Dailo → Settings → “Save a copy…” and save the file where you like (for example Files/iCloud Drive) or send it to yourself; where it goes is your choice. On the new iPhone install Dailo → Settings → “Restore from a copy…” → pick the file.
Tip: save a copy before switching phones.
How do I restore purchases? Dailo → Settings → open the Dailo Pro screen → “Restore Purchases”. Use the Apple ID you bought with and be online. If Pro doesn’t return, relaunch the app and retry, then contact us.
How do I cancel my subscription? Subscriptions can only be cancelled through Apple: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Dailo → Cancel Subscription, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period; your data is not deleted.
What is the “lifetime” purchase? A one-time payment with no renewal, tied to your Apple ID and restorable with “Restore Purchases”.
How do I save my history to a file and open it? Dailo → Settings → “Save a copy…”. The file is plain JSON and can be kept as an archive. Saving and restoring a copy is always free.
My entries went missing after an update. Don’t delete the app. Contact us with your Dailo version and a description; if you have a saved copy file, keep it safe.
Reminders don’t arrive. Check iPhone → Settings → Notifications → Dailo → Allow Notifications; Focus/Do Not Disturb; and that the habit has a reminder time set in Dailo.
Where is my data? The app’s data is on your device. The app has no built-in automatic iCloud backup or sync. If you turned on an iPhone backup (iCloud Backup or computer) in iOS, it may also be in that backup, and in copy files if you saved them (where such a file goes is your choice). The app has no account and no servers of ours, and does not send us the content of your habits. The website and beta sign-up are covered separately in the Privacy Policy (section 10). See the Privacy Policy: /privacy/.
I am a beta tester: where do crash reports and feedback go? Under Apple’s TestFlight terms, crash logs and usage information from beta builds are collected automatically and shared with Apple and the developer, and testers cannot opt out of this. Feedback and screenshots you submit are voluntary. Dailo itself sends us no habit content. In the App Store version, Apple shares crash data with developers only if you turned on Share With App Developers.
